The Presidential election petition tribunal sitting in Abuja has thrown out the petition filed by candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar against President Muhammadu Buhari and his Vice Yemi Osibanjo for allegedly using the TraderMoni scheme to induce voters during the build up to the 2019 Presidential election.
The tribunal while dismissing the application held that it does not have jurisdiction over the matter. Adding that Osinbajo is not a party in the suit.
Also, the court dismissed the application in favor of the second respondent, President Muhammadu Buhari.
Meanwhile, the tribunal is expected to give its verdict today either in favour of Buhari or Atiku.
